Sniper Sundays

This is going to be one of the many things that will be featured on this blog. Along with Multicam Monday, Warrior Wednesday, Spec Ops Saturdays and more as I think up with them.

Mil Sim Scenario- Operation Squatter

Paintball Scenario Game

Operation Squatter
Creator: Ba’wis
Type: Hostage rescue
Time Of Operation: 1 to 1 ½ hour of preparation. Main assault will last as long as needed. Each group will get 1 hour of rehearsal time.
Location: TBD
Forces:
BLUFOR: 3 Five-man teams (15 men for main assault), 2 five-man teams to provide support.
     OPFOR: 20-25 men
INDFOR (Independent Forces i.e. local militia): 20 men in total. They want to secure the hostages for the reward money offered by the NGOs’ employers.
NGO: 5 hostages. 2 advisors to INDFOR.
Details: A group of insurgents have taken a group of NGO workers, providing relief support, hostage. The insurgents have made their demands, asking for $5 Million. One team* is to deliver the money to OPFOR, representatives from INDFOR/NGO will be present. At this time, the Main Assault Force (MAS) is to move into the building** and find and secure the hostages. OPFOR is to prevent BLUFOR from securing the hostages***. INDFOR will also move into the building to try to find the hostages. OPFOR has to either be eliminated or hostages extracted for mission complete. BLUUFOR or INDFOR must take hostages to their spawn bases for mission complete.
Negation: Representatives from all forces will be present. Only two men from each team can be armed. No shots can be fired until after the deal, or OPFOR finds out that BLUFOR and/or INDFOR have made a move on the hostages. NGOs can ONLY advise INDFOR and cannot take up arms for or against BLUFOR and OPFOR.
Objective: Secure/hold the hostages until all forces are depleted.
Acceptable Casualty Rate: Hostages can be wounded; if one is killed BLUFOR fails. BLUFOR can only lose 3 men before mission failure. OPFOR 100% casualties rate or withdraw from the building. INDFOR is to fight until they want to withdraw.
NGOs 0% casualty rate, this includes hostages and advisors.
Kill: Head and torso shots are fatal. Limbs and grazes will be wounds. Depending on hits to the arms and legs, they can be ‘lost’ and can’t be used. No respawns.
Rules of Engagement:
BLUFOR: BLUFOR cannot engage INDFOR, they can only capture them. BLUFOR is weapons free on OPFOR. BLUFOR cannot shoot (kill/wound) hostages.
  OPFOR: Weapons free on everyone.
INDFOR: Weapons free on everyone but hostages
Identifying Friend or Foe:
BLUFOR: Uniform is to be 1) Multicam or 2) MARPAT woodland or 3) UCP (ACU) 4) All black (i.e. SAS Black Kit). Blue rag will be on the right arm and back. Wearing any NATO country flag patch in acceptable.
OPFOR: Any woodland, or foreign camouflage. Red rag on right arm and back.
INDFOR: Any civilian camouflage or Realtree/Mossy Oak pattern. Green rag on right arm and back. Jeans.
NGO: PMC style. Khaki pants and green/black/tam BDU top or combat shirt, or button up shirt. Only force that can wear shemaghs/”tactical scarves” and contractor hats****. Hostages will have paintball masks. Solid color clothing.
All Forces: Paintball masks. MOLLE gear and tactical gear is up to the individual’s discretion as long as they are clearly identified.

*This team can only carry 2 guns during the negation. This team has to provide a distraction for the main assault force.
**Insertion point is up to BLUFOR’s decision
***OPFOR can move the hostages around the building can execute the hostages as long as BLUFOR is present.

****Better known as hats with Velcro panels. It would be preferred if the NGOs have Punisher patches on their hats.
